Personality: Pretty evil and cold hearted (doesn't understand the meaning of the word 'love'. If you get on the wrong side of him then you're in trouble! Very loyal and can, occasionally, be kind. *
History: He never knew his mother Andrea as she ran away from his father after his birth. His father, Michael, brought him up badly, never showing him any love or kindness. From a young age, he developed a strange liking to killing things, begining with ants and small animals but in his teens, he started to enjoy killing people. He has a twin brother, Marcus, but they were seperated at birth as his mother chose Marcus over himself. For this he feels a strong hatred to the mother he never knew. *

Jace looked at his father as he stood over him, staring into his hard, grey eyes. "To love is to kill, Jonathon, and that is what has happened here. How many times do i have to repeat myself before you understand that?" his father said, as Jace's eyes looked towards the still body of the eagle which his father had given him for his 10th birthday. He had tamed the bird, taught it how to hunt and return with the prey without ruining it, taught it how to return to him when it was called. Endless nights he had sat with it, letting it build its trust towards him. All that work to please his father. And he had failed at that. Again. "You have broken this bird; tamed it. They are designed to be killing animals, Jonathon, but you made it love you." He blinked as he tried to stop the threatening tears. "Yes Father," he said, his voice betraying his sadness, "I will not do it again." He had to please Michael because there was nothing that he wanted more than for his father to love him, to be proud of him. But Michael Grey was a hard man to please and no matter how hard he tried, he failed everytime. *
